2026–2027 Season Overview
AYSO Region 279 ALLIANCE Soccer Club is part of the AYSO Player Development Pathway. ALLIANCE is a competitive, tryout‑based program designed for players who want to train and compete at a higher level while still benefiting from AYSO’s core philosophies. ALLIANCE teams participate in both internal and external gaming circuits as members of AYSO, Tennessee Soccer, US Youth Soccer, or US Club Soccer.
Founded in 2021, AYSO Region 279 ALLIANCE continues to expand opportunities for Knoxville‑area players seeking year‑round development, licensed coaching, and competitive play at an affordable cost.
How ALLIANCE Teams Are Formed
ALLIANCE teams are created through FREE, open tryouts. Players selected for an ALLIANCE roster demonstrate strong technical ability, commitment, and a desire to compete at a higher level.
ALLIANCE teams:
- Represent AYSO Region 279 in local ALLIANCE circuits
- Compete in Tennessee state leagues and inter‑state tournaments
- Require a year‑long commitment, additional fees, and team travel
Players must be registered with AYSO and will also be registered with TN Soccer, US Youth Soccer, or US Club Soccer, depending on league placement.

2026–2027 Fees & Financial Commitment
Tryout Fee
- FREE
Annual Club Registration
Covers: AYSO National Fee, player insurance, TN State Soccer & US Club Soccer membership, field rental/maintenance, training sessions, coaching education, and league registration.
*Does not include Winter Indoor program fees.*
2018–2013 Birth Years (Non‑High School Teams):
- $400 for the full 2026–2027 year (Fall 2026 & Spring 2027)
2012–2011 Birth Years (High School‑Aged Teams):
- $275 for one season
- Boys: Fall 2026 only
- Girls: Spring 2027 only
Team Fees
Team fees vary by team and season and may include:
- Referee fees
- Tournament entry fees
- TN State League registration
- Camps or training events
Estimated average: $250–$300 per player

Uniform Costs
- Approximately $150 per player for Custom Kits from Derma Apparel
Season Commitment
Non‑High School Teams:
- 10‑month commitment: July 1, 2026 – May 15, 2027
High School Boys:
- 4–5 months: July 1, 2026 – mid‑November 2026
High School Girls:
- 4–5 months: mid‑November 2026 – May 2027

Binding Date
Player commitments become binding on or after June 16, 2026.

Financial Agreement
By accepting a roster spot, families agree to pay:
- The $400 annual registration fee (or $275 for HS‑aged teams)
- All team fees
- The uniform cost
No refunds are available after July 1, 2026.
