We are pleased to announce the formation of a local AYSO Alliance Club Program for the upcoming 2021-2022 soccer season (July 2021 - May 2022).  Our AYSO Area, which includes the Regions of Knoxville and surrounding counties will be one of the first locations in Tennessee to offer the AYSO Alliance Club Program. The new program will complement the other AYSO programs by giving players, families and volunteers who want to remain within AYSO the opportunity to play at a different level and in different leagues.

What is AYSO Alliance?                                                                                                                                                        
AYSO Alliance is a new part of the AYSO Player Development Pathway, Alliance is a highly competitive, tryout-based program for players/teams who want to play in both internal and external gaming circuits as members of both AYSO and US Youth Soccer or US Club Soccer. Alliance teams will be competing against local clubs in a more competitive environment.  

The AYSO Alliance program is special for the following reasons:
• AYSO require that “Everyone Plays” a minimum 50% every game.
• Players are no longer have to sit on the bench 
• 70% Cheaper than clubs
• A Director of Coaching will support certified, high quality, volunteer coaches. 
In addition, many teams will be participating in a team camp for a week in the summer.

Who are the Alliance coaches?
coaches are a spectacular group, representing the best of AYSO philosophies and committed to developing their players and teams, each region will work independently in forming Alliance teams as well as coaches.

When and where do the AYSO Alliance teams play?                                                                                                             
AYSO Alliance consist of two seasons (Fall & Spring) each season normally lasts about eight weeks. Fall season from mid-August through October, Spring from March to mid-May. The number of games played and the length of the season vary by the team. Teams in the AYSO Alliance Program will play in tournaments each year.  Families and coaches collaborative determine the tournaments in which each team participates.

How are players chosen for AYSO Alliance teams?                                                                                                              
AYSO ALLIANCE teams consist of players who are selected through open tryouts and who want to play at a more competitive level within AYSO. AYSO ALLIANCE teams represent the National Program in their local ALLIANCE circuit as well as in inter-state tournaments.
Players on AYSO Alliance teams participate in tryouts for the respective age divisions. Tryouts for this year and future years will align with the timing of tryouts for other local clubs.

How much does it cost to play for an AYSO Alliance team?
Annual club Registration: 
The annual registration fee two seasons (Fall & Spring) for an AYSO Alliance team is $400. The registration fee includes AYSO player and playing circuit league registration, AYSo national fee and player insurance, Tennessee state soccer insurance, Tennessee state soccer association membership and US Club Soccer membership, field rental/maintenance. It does not include winter or summer camp programs.

Team Fees:
Team fees include referee fees, camps and training.
Referee fee average cost $17-$20 per player per season
Summer camp ( if offered ) average cost $120 per player
Training ( if offered ) average cost $80-$100 per player

Uniform Costs:
Uniform will be purchased through, under club name AYSO Alliance Knoxville
uniform cost $120 include two uniform kits (Red & Yellow)
